Glycerine Filled Back Entry Gauge

Our Glycerine Filled Gauges are high-quality instruments designed for fluctuating pressures and vibrations. They come with a durable stainless steel case with a crimped bezel, along with a plastic window and brass or bronze wetted parts. The glycerine inside dampens movement, resulting in steady and accurate pressure readings.

Commonly used in industries like oil and gas, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, and food and beverage. These gauges provide reliable measurements, in systems prone to vibrations and pulsations. The glycerine filling enhances accuracy and extends the gauge's lifespan, making it vital for ensuring safety and efficiency in industrial applications.

Key features:

The Glycerine Filled Back Entry Gauge features a stainless steel case with a crimped bezel and a plastic window. It has brass or bronze wetted parts and comes in sizes ranging from 40mm to 160mm and 1/8" to 1/2". The gauge measures pressure from -1 to 0 Bar, up to 0 to 414 Bar.

  • Face diameter 40mm: 1/8" to 1/4", -1 / 0 Bar to 0 / 275 Bar, accuracy 2.5%
  • Face diameter 50mm: 1/8" to 1/4", -1 / 0 Bar to 0 / 414 Bar, accuracy 2.5%.
  • Face diameter 63mm: 1/4" to 3/8", -1 / 0 Bar to 0 / 138 Bar, accuracy 1.6%.
  • Face diameter 100mm: 3/8" to 1/2", -1 / 0 Bar to 0 / 414 Bar, accuracy 1%.
  • Face diameter 160mm: 3/8" to 1/2", -1 / 0 Bar to 0 / 414 Bar, accuracy 1%.
  • All our Glycerine Filled Gauges are designed for applications and use according to European Standard EN837-1.

Please note: Chemical reactions can occur between strong oxidizing agents including: Ammonia, Chlorine, Oxygen etc and Glycerine. Gauges filled with Glycerine should therefore NOT be used with oxidizing agents.

Discolouration of Glycerine will also occur at temperatures above 55-60°C.
