Glycerine Filled Back Entry Gauge

Our back entry Glycerine Filled Gauge forms part of our carefully selected range of gauges and accessories; ideally suited for applications where oscillating and / or surging pressures or vibration are present. Features a Stainless Steel case and crimped bezel, plastic window and Brass / Bronze wetted parts.

The damping effect of the Glycerine within the gauge steadies the pointer, ensuring accurate readings are taken.

Key features:

• Face diameter 40mm: 1/8" to 1/4", -1 / 0 Bar to 0 / 275 Bar, accuracy 2.5%
• Face diameter 50mm: 1/8" to 1/4", -1 / 0 Bar to 0 / 414 Bar, accuracy 2.5%.
• Face diameter 63mm: 1/4" to 3/8", -1 / 0 Bar to 0 / 138 Bar, accuracy 1.6%.
• Face diameter 100mm: 3/8" to 1/2", -1 / 0 Bar to 0 / 414 Bar, accuracy 1%.
• Face diameter 160mm: 3/8" to 1/2", -1 / 0 Bar to 0 / 414 Bar, accuracy 1%.

All our Glycerine Filled Gauges are designed for applications and use according to European Standard EN837-1.

Please note: Chemical reactions can occur between strong oxidizing agents including: Ammonia, Chlorine, Oxygen etc and Glycerine. Gauges filled with Glycerine should therefore NOT be used with oxidizing agents.

Discolouration of Glycerine will also occur at temperatures above 55-60°C.
